Red Grandis™ is a durable and sustainable exotic wood alternative. Red Grandis™ is rough sawn and kiln dried to a moisture content of between 10-12%. Following the NHLA Grading standards, this lumber is an ideal alternative to mahogany, meranti, or sapele. Like other exotic species, it has exceptional dimensional stability and is resistant to rot, mold, and decay. Red Grandis™ is medium-grained, reddish, and is highly workable as it glues, stains, and finishes well.
