ABS vs PVC Edgebanding:
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, or ABS Edgebanding, is a thermoplastic material that is impact resistant and naturally recyclable. Its protective function produces a product ith outstanding performance, stability, and color-through technology. ABS edgebanding is workable and easily cut with conventional milling.
Polyvinyl Chloride Plastic, or PVC Edgebanding, is also a thermoplastic material manufactured through an extrusion process to create perfectly color-matched edge tape in virtually any color, woodgrain or pattern. Made from thermoplastic resin, this product type is uniquely flexible. PVC has good impact resistance, is workable, and highly customizable.
