Guide to Maintaining Finsa HPL Panels:
Finsa surfaces require only regular cleaning. In general, it is only necessary to remove the dust with a cloth, or soft sponge, preferably with warm water. In the presence of grease stains or visibly dirty surfaces, it is recommended to apply non-abrasive cleaning products like liquid soap or window cleaner. Never use scourers or metallic sponges, as they can produce irreversible damages on the melamine surface.
Do not use abrasive cleaning products or highly acidic / alkaline substances. Paint thinners are not recommended. Do not apply waxes or polishes as they will affect the brightness and even the colour of melamine surfaces. It is essential to dry the surface with a clean and dry cloth after cleaning or disinfecting.
Fabrication:
Finsa HPL products is a range of technical wood boards covered with a high-pressure laminate, which consists of several layers of papers pressed together and tested under the EN 438-2 standard. It is available in within the Gama Duo range of decorative combinations.
Finsa HPL are decorative papers with melamine resins and applied to kraft papers with a phenolic substrate at high head and pressure for 60 seconds.
Antibacterial Properties:
The surface of Finsa Gama Duo inhibits the growth or proliferation of bacteria and prevents their reproduction. The antibacterial effect is maintained during the useful life of the product. Finsa HPL is particularly suitable for applications where hygiene is a concern, such as kitchens and bathrooms.
Sustainability:
Finsa is a vertically integrated company allowing it to control for scale, consistency and quality in all products. Finsa owns and manages sustainably and ethically harvested forests.
