It is an ultra-durable, fungal and insect resistant plywood for exterior construction, marine applications, furniture and decoration. Duraply® Exterior Treated Properties
The Duraply® treatments help to protect the panel from damage caused by fungi and insects, giving each panel greater durability and resistance. Modified through an innovative treatment, this panel is bonded with exceptional durability, even after sanding or machining. This plywood product is applicable for outdoor use and is immune to attacks from fungi and xylophages, even without delamination. The adhesive is also exterior graded. This exceptionally lightweight and stable panel comes unfinished and must be surface treated with an appropriate finish.Plywood Grading BB:
BB grade plywood allows for light mineral streaks and a very limited number of knots and splits. BB face is generally even in colour. Single piece face veneer allows small tight pin knots.
Rotary Sliced:
Duraply® poplar face is rotary sliced, which produces veneers with very distinctive grain patterns. The log rotates toward the blade and is peeled in long, wide sheets. Rotary cut is the only cutting method capable of producing whole, single piece faces.
