Details
Fibrabel® LF+ is designed for areas requiring a lightweight, yet stable solution. While this MDF has the benefits of a lightweight MDF board, it has a dense and hard surface which can take lacquer, veneer, and laminates well. Like all Unilin products, Fibrabel® is sustainably sourced and made from 100% recovered wood content.
Fibrabel® MDF is ideal for applications where a reduced weight is necessary, such as furniture, walls, acoustic paneling or displays. Also, this panel is often used in motorhomes and caravans. Fibrabel® LF+ is easy to handle without compromising on surface quality.

Fabrication
Fibrabel® is a lightweight MDF with a smooth and hard surface. While lightweight, this MDF board has a remarkably dense board surface. MDF panels are created using recovered fine wood particles reduced to fibers through steam, then combined with a resin and bonded together under heat and pressure. The texture is smooth and close-grained, creating a smoother surface than Particle Board cores. This uniform texture creates homogenous panels that are ideal for paint, veneers, or decorative laminates.
Applications
- Drawer Boxes
- Kitchen Cabinets
- Kitchen Cabinet Doors
- Kitchen Counters
- Wall Paneling
- Passage Doors
- Closets
- Garage Storage
- Interior Millwork
- Residential Indoor Furniture
- Commercial Indoor Furniture
