UNILIN Fibralux® FR Fire Rated Black Medium Density Fiberboard Panel

Fibralux® FR Black MDF is suitable for interior decoration, industrial processing and furniture production. The panel is sanded smooth and can be lacquered or finished with laminates or veneer. Uniquely to Fibralux® is its application in perforated wall systems, like acoustic ceilings. Due to the black colour throughout the panel, perforations or grooves in the panel are also black, creating a seamless and consistent look when machined.

Fabrication

Fiberboard panels are created using fine wood particles reduced to fibers through steam, then combined with a resin and bonded together under heat and pressure. The texture is smooth and close-grained, creating a smoother surface than Particle Board cores. This uniform texture creates homogenous panels that are ideal for paint, veneers, or decorative laminates.
