Guide to Maintaining Uniboard TFL Panels:
Maintaining your Uniboard melamine surfaces to look polished and new is easy. Following production, panels can be cleaned with the help of paint thinner, or solvents used for varnish or contact glue. It is important to never use acidic or abrasive products, as they may damage the panel finish. The melamine panels should not be exposed any clamps or assembly methods. The melamine panels should be glued and assembled with mounting dowels method or screwed with plated finish.
Specifications
Uniboard® TFL decorative panels are produced with cutting edge technology that thermally fuses melamine saturated paper to either particleboard or Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) core. The melamine resins used to bond the decorative paper and panel together are renowned for their unique physical properties including durability; hardness; scratch and stain resistance as well as colour stability.
Uniboard® raw particleboard, MDF and TFL melamine are now available as FSC® certified products (upon request).
Uniboard® strives to reduce emissions from its products and meet and exceed voluntary industry standards. All Uniboard® mills are ECC™ certified (Eco-Certified Composite by the Composite Panel Association (CPA)). Similarly, Uniboard® facilities are FSC® certified for traceability and chain of custody by the Rainforest Alliance.
Uniboard® fulfills the requirements of EPA TSCA Title VI (40 CFR 770) and/or CARB 2, CAN/CSA-0160-16, ANSI A208.1 and California Air Resources Board (CARB) Airborne Toxic Control Measures (ATCM) 93120.
