Care and Maintenance

Clean these Overlays with a damp cloth, with ordinary soap and water or general-purpose household cleaner. More stubborn dirt and grease may be removed with solvents such as acetone. Acidic, alkaline or abrasive cleaners should not be used.

Fabrication

VelourTouch™ Overlays are fabricated using a decorative cellulose papers and special backers which are impregnated with thermosetting resins and are thermally fused together under heat and high pressure.

Postforming

VelourTouch™ Overlays have a wide forming temperature range of 275 to 325 degrees Fahrenheit on automated postforming equipment. They can be easily heated with high wattage hot air guns or radiant heater panels which translate to faster processing speeds.
