Maintaining Prism® TFL Panels:

Prism® TFL Panels are easy to clean and maintain. After installation, remove any remaining adhesives with paint lacquer thinner or contact adhesive solvent. For general cleaning, use mild, non-abrasive, all-purpose cleaner and a soft cloth. Tougher stains may be removed using a mild household detergent or paste of baking soda and water. Avoid excessive scrubbing and harsh or abrasive chemicals and materials. Protect your Prism® TFL by not placing hot objects directly on the panel and avoid direct contact with sharp cutting tools.

Regular proper care can help ensure the continued vibrance and performance of your panels.

Substrates:

Prism® TFL is available with a range of ARAUCO’s standard specialty panel substrates and grades, including Duraflake Particleboard, Ultra Particleboard, and Trupan Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). ARAUCO substrates are uniform, durable, and free of defects, making them an ideal pairing for Prism® TFL.

ARAUCO specialty substrates offer improved fire resistance, moisture resistance, and sustainability standard requirements to best suit your needs.

Fire Resistance:

Prism® TFL laminated on ARAUCO’s fire-rated particleboard at the Albany, OR laminating facility are classified by Intertek Testing Services NA, Inc. to have a Class A or Class I flame spread rating.

Sustainability:

ARAUCO Prism® TFL is manufactured using composite panel substrates sourced from recycled, recovered, and/or FSC® certified wood. Prism® TFL and substrates are certified EPA TSCA Title VI/CARB-2 and meets relevant green building requirements. ARAUCO offers cradle-to-gate information through the Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for particleboard and MDF manufactured in North America.
