ARAUCO Ultra Vesta Fire Rated Industrial Particle Board Panel

Lightweight, uniform colour and easily sanded, this particleboard is ultimately a versatile and dependable choice. Ultra VESTA is offered Fire-Rated Class A, making it especially ideal for commercial applications. This Industrial-graded particleboard has a higher density than other panels and meets the most demanding standards.

VESTA ULEF:

VESTA by ARAUCO is a specialty brand for panels manufactured using an ultra-low emitting formaldehyde (ULEF) resin system. VESTA ULEF allows your project to achieve extra LEED points and is the optimal choice for ULEF specified projects. VESTA is also made with 100% recycled and/or recovered wood fibre. Moisture resistant, fire-rated and high-density panels are available.

Particleboard Grading:

ARAUCO Particleboard is M-2 Graded for Industrial use. Each grade of particleboard has different densities, with higher M-grades denoting higher densities and greater resistance to impact and screw fasteners. ARAUCO offers particleboard in a variety of other grades, including M-S, M-3, M-3 and Door core. Industrial Particleboard is classified by its density, which is measured by the weight per cubic foot of the panel product. M-Graded is generally between 40-50 pounds per feet cubed. M-Graded Particleboard is used in the broadest applications of woodwork and is best suited for veneer and laminates.

Particleboard Fabrication:

Industrial Grade Particleboard is made of wood particles of various sizes that are bonded together with a synthetic resin or binder under heat and pressure.

Fire Resistance:

ARAUCO North America Fire-Retardant (FR) Particleboard is certified to have a Class A or Class 1 flame spread rating, CAN/ULC-S102.
