Found in cabinetry, flooring, furniture and wine and whiskey barrels, the straight grained Rift White Oak is an architecturally foundational lumber. With strong levels of dimensional stability, Rift White Oak pairs a desirable pattern with tested durability. It can be stained and painted easily to match any décor and is exceptionally moisture and rot resistant. White Oak is the ideal choice for time-tested beauty and durability.
Rift Sawn Lumber:
Rift Sawn White Oak is produced by sawing perpendicularly to the growth rings of the tree. It creates a straight grain pattern without any prominent fleck. Rift Sawn lumber expands and contracts across its thickness rather than width. As a result, it is a more dimensionally stable product.
Why Rift Sawn White Oak?
- Pronounced clean and straight grain
- Excellent exterior durability and moisture-resistance
- Increased dimensional stability
- Glues, stains and finishes well
- Ideal for flooring, exterior applications, cabinetry, and furniture
- Easily machinable and workable
Contact your Sales or Specifications Representative for more information on how to configure White Oak for your project.
