Plain Sawn Lumber:

Cutting tangentially through the tree’s growth rings, Plain Sawn Walnut utilizes the entire log while minimizing waste. The result is a grain pattern that displays a very traditional and recognizable cathedral pattern.

Lumber is a living product, responding to its environment as a tree does to its forest. Humidity, age, area and cut will slightly alter the appearance of the lumber product. The product images on this page are a sample of this species, not an exact depiction of the product you will receive.

Furniture Grade

Furniture Grade White Pine delineates Pine that is knotty, tight grained and stable. The presence of sound knots or other character and defects on the boards define the grade, so long as the lumber remains workable, stable, easily painted. This lumber is used for furniture manufacturing.

Workability

White Pine is highly workable due to its strength and stability. It glues and finishes well. Due to its straight grain and even texture, White Pine is commonly used for construction lumber, interior millwork and furniture.
