Club Ozone renovation utilizes Uniboard® Panels
Artfully utilizing Uniboard® Panels, the Club Ozone fitness facility combines luxury with practicality to create an accessible, beautiful, and easily maintained residential fitness center.
Club Ozone is a private fitness facility in downtown Vancouver, BC. Servicing residents of more than 400 units, the sprawling establishment features a pool, spa, and sauna, as well as a fitness center and other multi-purpose rooms including a communal kitchen and study area. Delage Architecture & Design was tasked with renovating the existing space into one more modern, fresh, and long-lasting.

The new community-centered design features bright, open concepts that take advantage of the plentiful natural light. Along with the extensive fitness facility, the adjoining communal kitchen and study areas create a place for the residents to convene in an airy, beautiful, and well-maintained environment. The seating areas were accented with Uniboard® Natura Paneling to capture the essence of real wood in the light space and offset the dark gray furniture. This low-maintenance, durable paneling was also used as a unique slatting divider to create an organic, breathable and flowing interior.
Matte cabinetry in soft gray Uniboard® colors also contributed to the calming, inviting space as a beautiful complement to the woodgrains and large windows. Club Ozone’s artful use of various fabrics, textures, and materials creates a welcoming environment for all residents—from gym goers and socializers to those who use the communal space to work from home.
Why Uniboard®?
The Delage Architecture & Design team needed durable and timeless finishes with low lifetime maintenance for this project. Uniboard® TFL offered a wide array of realistic woodgrain patterns and colors, as well as complementary pantone colors that were ideal for the space. Uniboard®’s soft, inviting matte textured gray panels perfectly contrasted with the oak-like finish of the Natura TFL panels. Uniboard® Panels are scratch and stain resistant and have long lifetime use.
