When Penske Media Corporation set out to establish a new headquarters in Los Angeles, California, the project quickly grew as expansive and dynamic as the company itself. Encompassing more than 125,000 square feet of interior space, along with acres of outdoor and recreational amenities, the new headquarters called for materials that could match the ambition, durability, and design vision of this cultural center.
Penske Media Corporation is a global media company pioneering digital media and bolstering the award-winning content of such iconic brands as Variety, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and The Hollywood Reporter, among many others. Their cultural reach is expansive, representing the voices and interests of people from all over the world. Penske’s principles of inclusivity and responsibility stand at the forefront of this immense building project, as the architects sought to create a communal, collaborative, and open workspace with sustainable materials.

Unilin Master Oak is a decorative panel collection that offers the look and feel of real Oak veneer with added flexibility, durability, and customizability of decorative panels. Master Oak Natural 0H913 was selected as a White Oak veneer alternative in the Penske headquarters.

Sustainability and Durability
After three years of work, the Penske Media Corporation headquarters were completed in the Summer of 2026. This massive undertaking specified for durable and sustainably sourced materials that would match the enduring legacy of the company and its new home. Unilin Master Oak panels are ideal for high-trafficked areas due to their high scratch and stain resistance and impressively superior durability when compared to real Oak veneer.
