A home renowned for its award-winning design, the Cadboro Bay Beach House is a modern conflux of biophilic principles with daring art and lighting fixtures, making the unmatched beauty of the bay the focal point of every room. Designed by Falken Reynolds, the Beach House is a multitude of sleek, smooth textures and subtle woodgrains. LosánNL Florán® European Oak Veneered Wall Paneling is showcased in the powder room, throughout the kitchen cabinetry, and primary bedroom lending an organic effect to this ultra-modern home. Its floor to ceiling bay windows and linear woodgrain and textile patterns extends the sight lines throughout the home to the ever-captivating Cadboro Bay.
With its oversized windows offering panoramic views of the outdoors, the wooden veneer throughout the home grounds the design. The European Oak veneered panels are exceptionally tall at 10ft, accentuating the height of the ceiling and matching the effect of the large windows. To sustain a clean look with refreshing, unbroken lines, the cabinets and shelves are hidden behind the large Oak panels.
Falken Reynolds Design Group managed to create an effortless blend of cold stone, audacious art and lighting, and grounded natural woodgrain panels which serve as a timeless backdrop in this one-of-a-kind beachside home. Similarly, In the primary bedroom, this same Oak veneer panel is paired with outstanding views of the beach and bay and nicely complement the linen fabric throughout the space.
Why LosánNL Florán® Veneer?
LosánNL Florán® was specified for its beauty and ready-to-use wire-brushed panels, provided efficient installation with the added benefits of matching components like paper-back and edgebanding for a seamless, holistic finish for every application throughout the home.
The color Playa Blanca from the LosánNL Florán® Collection was a repeated central theme throughout the home, as its vertical, plank matched pattern is seen through the kitchen, bedroom and powder room. The natural warmth of European Oak is accentuated with a straight rift cut grain pattern, highlighting the brushed texture and uninterrupted visual pattern throughout the face of the panel.
